mechanic. He was born
October 3, 1903 in Franklin
county the son of Johnny and
Ella
(Bates) Medlock. He was a
lifelong resident of
Franklin and Crawford
counties. Survivors
are his wife, Mrs. Clara
Medlock; three sons, Curtis
Medlock of Dectaur, Ill,
Gervis
Medlock of Mulberry and John
Paul Medlock of Fort Worth,
Texas; a daughter, Mrs.
Patricia
Lancaster of Fort Smith; a
brother Monroe Medlock of
Mulberry; three sisters,
Mrs. Ethel
Williams and Mrs. Leola
Freeman of Fort Smith; and
20 grandchildren. Casket

the home, and Mrs Mary Cooper of Drumright;
three stepsons, Kivil and Gene
Medlock, both of Keota, and Floyd
Medlock of Phoenix, Ariz; a step-daughter,
Mrs Eva Rason of Ozark, Ark; two brothers, three sisters, 10
grand children
and 10 great grandchildren. Mallory Funeral Home of Stigler is
in charge of
arrangements.

LAMESA — Cecil Coleman Medlock, 60, long time building contractor
here, died at 2:45 a.m.
today
in Medical Arts Hospital. He had been a patient there for 11 days.
Services will be held at
2:30
p.m Saturday in the Church
of Christ, where he was a
member, with the minister,
W. T. Hamilton,
in charge. Burial will be in
the Lamesa Memorial Park
under direction of
Higginbotham Funeral Home.
Mr. Medlock was born Dec. 10 1890 in Wise County and came to Dawson
County 25 years ago. He had
been engaged in contracting,
mostly in residential
construction. For the past
11 years he had been
a member of the Church of Christ. Surviving him are his wife, Mrs.
Eva Medlock; two sisters,
Mrs.
Delia Downing, Childress, and Mrs. W. W. Yancey, Lubbock; three
brothers, B. T. Medlock, J.
D.
Medlock and W C Medlock,
Lubbock.
