I
James McMullin do hereby
make my last will &
Testament in manner &
form following that is -
I first desire that my
plantation whereon
Samuel Woody formerly
lived shall be put to
sale amediately after my
decease & out of the
monies arising therefrom
all my just debts &
funeral expenses be paid
if that should prove
insufficient for the
above purpose. I then
desire that some part of
the Stock of my cattle
or horses or hogs should
be sold to pay the
remainder if any.
2nd - I
give & bequeath to my
wife Rebeckah McMullin
the plantation whereon I
now reside & all my
stock of cattle (crossed
thru) horses, cattle
hogs & sheep & waggon &
farming utendials to
dispose of as she may
think proper. I then
wish her to give to my
daugher Polly McMullin
one feather bed &
furniture one cow & calf
to be equal with my
daughter Nancy Brazeale.
I then wish her to sell
some part of the stock
so as to buy my son John
McMullin a rifle gun & a
saddle to be equal as
good as my son Thomas
McMullin. I gave &
bequeath unto my son
Jason McMullin my rifle
gun this my last will &
Testament hereby
revoking all other or
former wills or
testaments by me
heretofore made - In
witnefs whereof I have
herunto set my hand seal
this sixth day of
January in the year of
