1820 Sept 9 TAKE NOTICE, --That agreeably to the last will of Aaron Earnest, decd.
the
executors will offer at public sale,on the 15th of November next, at 10 o'clock,
A.M. 250 acres of first rate
Land, consisting of rich Barrens Timber,and suitable
land for Meadow, with 70 acres of cleared land, a hewed log
dwelling house with
stone chimney, and other necessary buildings, with a good Apple Orchard &c.-- The
land lies
mostly in Warren County Ky. 12 miles south of Bowlinggreen, on the road
leading from the three Springs to
Bledsoe's lick, adjoining the lands of Harvey
Vivion, Absolom Matlock, Bennet Henderson, John M Robertson, and William
Harris.
-- Said land to be sold on a credit of 18 months, by purchaser giving bonds with
approved
securities. (Sold on premises) Due attention will be given by GEORGE
HUDSPETH, WILLIAM HARRIS, Executors. Sept 9

indenture made and entered this 23rd day of July in the year one thousand eight
hundred and twenty two between William Harris
of the county of Warren and commonwealth
of Kentucky & George Hudspeth joint
executors of the estate of Aaron Earnest deceased
of one part and Absolom
Matlock of the county and state aforesaid witness that the said
William Harris and George
Hudspeth executors of the aforesaid for in the consideration
of the sum of one
thousand seven hundred and five dollars current
money of the state
of Kentucky to them in hand paid the receipt whereof they
acknowledge themselves
satisfied hath
this day bargained and sold
and by these presents doth bargained and sold
and by these presents unto Absolom Matlock his heirs and assigns a certain tract and
parcel of
land lying in Warren County and state afs'd containing two hundred acres as per
call in the patent it being the place
whereon the said Aron Earnest resided and bounded as
follows to wit
beginning at a post oak on a conditional line
between said Aron Earnest dec'd
and David Hudspeth and corner to Elijah
Carrington's two hundred acre survey running with
said Covington's survey North
twelve degrees east 120 poles, to four black jacks thence with
William Harrises line east 214 poles to a post oak said Harrises conor thence
south seven
degrees west 155 poles to a stake at Covington's conor of his two
hundred acre survey thence
south 25 poles to three post oaks on said Hudspeth's
conor thence with his line North 74
degrees West 226 poles to have and hold the
said tract of land withit's appertiances there
into belonging to the only use
and benefit of Absolom Matlock to warrant and forever defend
the tract of land
to the said Matlock his heirs and assigns forever from the claim or claims
of
all and every person what soever under through or by them. In witness
whereof the said
William Harris and George Hudspeth herein have
