1 Jul 1908 - Chief Stacy Matlock, disciplinarian of the Carlisle Indian School and a

Carlisle graduate of 15 years, was wedded to Miss Blanche Hill, a Carlisle Indian

maiden, by Rev. Alexander McMillan of St. John's Lutheran Church. Matlock was lately

elected chief of the Pawnees. His first wife died several years ago. He is 38 and his

new Nebraska wife is 21. His father's name was Lah-lau-lar-he-yo-say-kee (Wellsboro

Agitator - Wellsboro, PA)
