Know all men by these presence that I, Moses Medlock of the State and County

aforesaid and in consideration of the sum of Eight hundred dollars of James

J.Ray as Trustee, the receipt where of I do hereby acknowledge have granted,

bargained sold and released and by these presence do grant bargain sell and

release to the said James J. Ray Trustee all and singular any right, title

interest, claim or demand of whatsoever of in or to the following described

tract of land, that is to say the East half Section fifteen of township Six

/6/ containing three hundred and twenty acres lying on both sides of Random

Creek in said county, together with all together with all the rights, members,

hereditaments and appurtenances to the said premises or either of them

belonging or in anywise appertaining to have and to hold with all and singular

the premises before mentioned unto the said James J. Ray, as Trustee , with

the express stipulation that is for the sole and proper use of the wife of

said Ray, Sophia Ray and her children during her life, and at her death to go

to the children then living of the said Ray, this wife Sophia and these heirs

and assigns forever and I do bind myself, my heirs Executors and administrators

to warrant and forever defend the said premises and each and every one of them

unto the said James J. Ray, Trustees as aforesaid these heirs and assigns

against myself and against every person whomsoever lawfully claiming or claims

the same or any part thereof.
