age 1 year and 2 months. (Daily National Intelligencer, (Washington, DC) Tuesday,

1865 Oct 21-In this city, on the morning of the 20th instant, Charles B H Matlock

in the 34th year of his age. The relatives and friends are respectfully invited

to attend his funeral on tomorrow (Sunday) afternoon at 2 o'clock, from the

residence of his father Simeon Matlock, No. 414 Eight street, between G and H

streets. (Daily National Intelligencer, (Washington, DC) Saturday, October 21, 1865; Issue 16,591; col D)

 

1905 Dec 12-Bevier - On Monday evening December 11 1905 at the home of his

daughter, Mrs. S E Matlock 1420 Eleventh street northwest. William D Bevier,

MD. Funeral Services at the above address on Wednesday December 13, at 2:30

pm. Internment in Congressional Cemetery.(Washington Post)

northwest. Oscar J Matlock, Captain Quartermaster Corps US Army beloved husband

of Alwilda Matlock. Notice of Funeral later.

Alwilda J Matlock. On Saturday February 22, 1936, at Walter Reed General Hospital,

Alwilda J Matlock, wife of the late Oscar J Matlock. Body resting at her residence

1360 Hamilton street nw. where services will be held on Tuesday, February 25 at 2

pm. Followed by internment in Arlington Cemetery.


 

1941 Obit Washington DC- Mrs. Matlock’s Funeral Rites Set for Tomorrow

Funeral Services for Amalyer B Matlock, 84, who died suddenly in her home

at 1325 Thirteenth Street Northwest, will be held tomorrow from the Hines

funeral home, 2901 Fourteenth Street Northwest at 1 pm. Burial will follow

in Cedar Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Raphael Miller, pastor of the National

City Christian Church will officiate. Mrs. Matlock was born in Christiansburg,

Va. and was descended from an old Virginia family. She had lived here for

thirty years and was a member of the National City Christian Church. Mrs.

Matlock leaves two daughters, Mrs. Josephine Heff, and Mrs. Viola Warren

both of 1325 Thirteenth Street Northwest, and one son Dee Matlock of

Warrensburg Missouri.
