[Thomas L. Taylor s/o William Berryman and Mary L. Wood Taylor. He was mostly known as Lee.]

Cornelia Medlock was born the 18^th of September in the year of our Lord 1863. [She was born 18

Sep, 1861. Her mother Cornelia died on Sep 19, 1861. From then on you see Cornelia living with

her Grandmother Sarah Sally Jones Medlock. Child Cornelia married Green Berry Taylor. Even her

tombstone says death at 1862.]

William Franklin & Amanda Nash Medlock Family Bible

 

Present owner: Mrs. C. W. Pinson, Honea Path, S. C.

In 1906 the old family Bible was destroyed in a house fire. The Medlock family and allied families

came together to add to a new Bible all of their dates.

Pearl Elizabeth Medlock and Edward Miller Nesbitt were married June 6, 1918.

Lee Esten Medlock and Mary Beaufort Curry were married December 6, 1916.

Fred Eugene Medlock and Bonnie Davenport were married December 27, 1923.

Benjamin Wofford Medlock and Helen Harrell were married January 20, 1925.

Cora Belle Medlock and Clincie Wyatt Pinson were married December 18, 1918.

William James Balentine and Cleopatra Knight had a son named John Henry Balentine. John Henry married

Clara Alice Medlock d/o James Travis and Martha J. Babb Medlock. This Bible must have passed to John Henry

and Clara added her half sister's death date.
